The Dark Sentencer is a tarot card based storytelling game for 2+ players, where you and your friends play out eleven days in the lives of alien mobsters, robotic pirates, and completely human con artists attempting to escape the galaxy's most dangerous prison planet. It's inspired by the Coheed and Cambria song of the same name (and the entire album Unheavenly Creatures).

If you're interested in formal rules for playing The Dark Sentencer as a solo/journaling game, you should check out the solo ruleset by Matthew Gravelyn!

this game was so fun to play! my friends and i emded up getting incredibly emotional about the state of our characters plan in the end and it added so much to the game. i definitely recommend it

I really like the use of the minor arcana suits and ranks in setting up scenes, and the end resolution is really cool. Well done!!

thanks!! i'd seen systems like this with a regular deck of cards before, and wanted to see if i could map it onto a tarot deck instead.
