Heaven or Hell is an expansion pack of experimental additions to You Can Check Out Any Time You Like, But You Can Never Leave, focused primarily on long-term play.

• Prestige Backgrounds: Play as one of three new character types - the Veteran, the Manager, or the Outlier
• Multisession Play Materials: Two new minigames that focus on events within the Hotel between play sessions
• On Character Retirement: A short essay on escape and character death in the Hotel
• (I Just) Died In Your Arms: A minigame for character death
• Separate Ways: A minigame for attempting to escape the Hotel solo
• Dancing In The Dark: A map-making game for exploring the depths of the Hotel
